Excellent Stay Near the Market
complimentary wine late checkout adequate equipment convenient location
I received a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. The reception staff efficiently handled my late checkout request. The gym offered adequate equipment for a full workout. I found the location next to the market very convenient.
The lift buttons are positioned behind a barrier, made pressing them difficult when my hands were full.

faulty shower poor communication
I was disappointed. The shower tap was faulty. It seemed someone had tried to fix it before with blutac and it was out of shape. I managed to turn on the water, showered, and then had to wrestle the tap again to turn it off.. I told the staff, and they said they would have maintenance fix it. Upon my return, they said maintenance had fixed the shower head, not the tap. I found this quite inconvenient.

The location is convenient! It is near the Queen Victoria Market. There is also easy access to transport. The room has blackout curtains, which I found useful. The bed was super comfy.
The shower tap was not properly fixed. It seemed to have been repaired previously. I also noticed a hotel-wide issue with the hot water system one morning. The tap was fine for only one morning out of three, unfortunately.

dirty room staff shortage
I found a few issues . the room wasn't properly cleaned upon arrival. I noticed some crumbs on the floor. furthermore, there was a noticeable lack of staff during peak times (particularly at check-out), causing delays. the situation wasn't ideal, and i hope they address these points soon.

free laundry equipped kitchen convenient location
I enjoyed the free laundry facilities on each floor. the room included a well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and electric stove. the location was very close to queen victoria market. It made getting fresh produce easy.

The hotel is located next to the Queen Victoria Market. This proximity made exploring the area very convenient. The laundry service was also available and I found this helpful. The room was generally comfortable.
My room faced the street. Street noise and noise from doors closing in nearby rooms was audible. The bed was uncomfortably firm and the pool was cold. The lift button was inconveniently placed behind a barrier.
